Zusammenfassung

Musselwhite Mine, part of Equinox Gold Corp., is seeking a Mill Operator to join our Northwestern Ontario operations. You will safely run and monitor milling processes, perform inspections and data checks, and help ensure safe, efficient plant performance.

This role requires at least 1 year of milling experience, Grade 12 education, and a willingness to learn. The schedule is 14 days on and 14 days off, with 12-hour shifts, in a challenging but rewarding mining environment.

Qualifikationen

• Minimum Grade 12 education required.
• Minimum of 1 year of milling experience in the mining industry.
• Candidates with 3 or more years of directly related experience may qualify for a more senior operator role.
• Willingness to learn.
• Good communication skills.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs.

Aufgaben

• Safely operate and monitor milling process areas including crushing, grinding, leaching, CIP, elution, and tailings management.
• Conduct routine inspections, sampling and process adjustments to maintain safe, efficient and consistent plant performance.
• Record, interpret and troubleshoot process data and equipment readings to optimize plant performance.
• Follow safety, environmental and operational procedures and maintain a clean work environment.
• Participate in daily pre-start meetings, shift handovers, plant startups and shutdowns, and emergency procedures.
