This northern city in the Canadian Shield boasts a 60-kilometre-long formation called the Sudbury basin, which is brimming with nickel, copper, cobalt, gold, silver, platinum and palladium deposits. It’s also been home to Sudbury Integrated Nickel Operations (Sudbury INO) since 1929. We are currently seeking an Underground Heavy-Duty Equipment Mechanic to join our Glencore Sudbury Integrated Nickel Operations in Greater Sudbury, Ontario. This is a Permanent Position.

About You

Your personal commitment to health, safety, training, and continuous improvement will be the key to your success in this role.

Education

Applicants must be a certified Heavy Duty Equipment Technician, Truck and Coach Technician, or Automotive Service Technician with at least three years of recent, relevant experience, and possess a valid driver's license.

Skills

This position requires strong mechanical and communication skills, both written and orally.
