As an Unclaimed Property Administrator, you will play a key role in ensuring unclaimed property requests are processed accurately, efficiently, and in compliance with regulatory requirements. You will be responsible for reviewing documentation, initiating claims, supporting customers through the validation process, and resolving escalated inquiries to help individuals reclaim funds that rightfully belong to them. This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented professional who enjoys administrative work, problem-solving, and delivering exceptional customer service while making a meaningful impact on customers' financial well-being.

Position Responsibilities:
  • Process requests from external customers seeking to initiate an unclaimed property claim. Review documentation, apply established procedures, and use sound judgment to determine whether requests are complete and eligible for processing. High attention to detail is required to ensure an accurate and timely customer experience. (80%)

  • Contact customers when additional information or supporting documentation is required. Determine whether standard communications are sufficient or whether direct outreach is necessary to resolve outstanding items. (5%)

  • Process requests from external vendors and business partners that require immediate attention to support claim progression.

  • Manage escalated inquiries related to claim initiation, documentation requirements, and follow-up activities, ensuring timely resolution.

  • Utilize multiple operational and claims-related systems effectively and maintain a working knowledge of each.

  • Support additional administrative and operational responsibilities as required.

  • Other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 3 years of administrative experience.

  • Previous experience in business operations, customer service, claims administration, financial services, or a related field.

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and general computer systems.

Salary range is expected to be between

$38,175.00 CAD - $63,625.00 CAD

Employees also have the opportunity to participate in incentive programs and earn incentive compensation tied to business and individual performance. The actual salary will vary depending on local market conditions, geography and relevant job-related factors such as knowledge, skills, qualifications, experience, and education/training.
