Job summary

Manulife is seeking a student intern in Montreal to contribute to data analysis, reporting, and stakeholder collaboration. You will gather requirements, analyze business needs, and help drive customer-focused solutions within a hybrid work setup.

The role emphasizes learning and growth while supporting real-world financial services initiatives. You will engage across teams, perform analysis and documentation, and contribute to improvements in processes, dashboards, and reporting.

Responsibilities

  • Leverage your analytical skills to ask insightful questions and define scope of initiatives.
  • Build and nurture relationships to strengthen partnerships with key stakeholders.
  • Apply data mining, analysis, visualization, process assessment, root cause analysis, prioritization, and presenting findings.
  • Provide clear documentation of solution requirements and propose viable solutions.
  • Use strong communication skills to lead meetings and present to all organizational levels.
  • Clearly articulate upcoming changes to prepare our business partners.
  • Recommend business decisions that drive results and address customer issues.
  • Engage in daily activities including valuation oversight, trade processing and reconciliation, risk oversight, vendor management, tax compliance, securities lending, financial reporting, client onboarding, shareholder record-keeping, data management, and dashboard creation.

Salary information: Referenced Salary Location Montreal, Quebec. Working Arrangement Hybrid. Salary range is expected to be between Employees also have the opportunity to participate in incentive programs and earn incentive compensation tied to business and individual performance. The actual salary will vary depending on local market conditions, geography and relevant job-related factors such as knowledge, skills, qualifications, experience, and education/training.
