Uncertified Daily Occasional Teacher

We welcome applications from students that have successfully completed an undergraduate degree and are currently working towards a Bachelor of Education.
We are currently seeking uncertified daily occasional teachers who are available for daily occasional work. Uncertified occasional teachers will only be called when no qualified occasional teachers are available. Uncertified occasional teachers may be called for elementary or secondary assignments.
Uncertified occasional teacher applicants will need to apply for an Ontario teaching certificate from the Ontario College of Teachers (OCT) immediately upon completion of the Bachelor of Education Degree and submit proof of conferral of their Bachelor of Education degree and confirmation of receipt of their application for certification from the OCT.

About Us:
The Brant Haldimand Norfolk Catholic District School Board provides a Christ-centered education to approximately 12,000 students within 28 elementary schools, 3 secondary schools, a multisite Alternative Education school, and 3 administrative offices.
The Board currently employs over 1500 permanent staff and approximately 350 casual and occasional staff, including teachers who are supported by a team of consultants, principals, administrators, and non-academic staff who work to ensure the best possible facilities, supports, and resources are available to our students and the system. The Board encompasses the broad geographical area of the City of Brantford and the counties of Brant, Haldimand, and Norfolk. We are located approximately one hour west of Toronto, one hour east of London, and one hour south of Kitchener-Waterloo.
