Engineers and Geoscientists British Columbia is currently searching for an Unauthorized Practice Investigator to join our team in Burnaby!
The Unauthorized Practice Investigator works independently to investigate and resolve concerns that unlicensed individuals or firms are engaged in engineering or geoscience or are representing themselves as engineers or geoscientists. The Investigator will take responsibility for new complaints, open files, gather necessary evidence, draft demand letters, and communicate with the target of the file in an attempt to resolve the concerns. A successful candidate will have experience with assimilating large amounts of information and have the ability to write clear and concise chronologies and summaries of evidence.
This role is part of a high-impact, high-performing team doing rewarding work to protect the public interest. The successful candidate would play an important part in improving our enforcement program while working on interesting and engaging files.

This role offers a competitive compensation and benefits program including a salary within our hiring range of $85,000 to $95,000. Placement within the hiring range will be based on candidate experience relative to the requirements of the role. Additional details on our generous benefit offerings are found below.
