Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Ultrasound Technologist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be committed to delivering high-quality diagnostic imaging services, ensuring patient comfort, and maintaining the highest standards of safety and accuracy.

Key Responsibilities

1. Perform high-quality ultrasound imaging procedures in accordance with established protocols.
2. Collaborate with physicians and healthcare professionals to obtain the best diagnostic results.
3. Prepare and position patients, explaining procedures to ensure comfort and understanding.
4. Review and analyze images for clarity and accuracy, ensuring they meet diagnostic standards.
5. Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in compliance with regulatory requirements.
6. Adhere to safety standards, including infection control and patient safety protocols.
7. Stay updated on advancements in ultrasound technology and best practices.

Qualifications

1. Graduate of an accredited ultrasound program or equivalent.
2. Registered with CMRITO (College of Medical Radiation and Imaging Technologists of Ontario).
3. Member of Sonography Canada with Canadian credentials or actively completing Sonography Canada's Canadian Clinical Skills Assessment (CCSA) to obtain credentials.
4. Preferably 1-2 years of hands-on ultrasound scanning experience.
5. Strong understanding of ultrasound physics and technical skills to operate imaging equipment.

Skills And Abilities

1. Proficiency in general, vascular, and/or obstetric ultrasound (as required by the role).
2. Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills to provide excellent patient care.
3. Attention to detail with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
4. Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a healthcare team.
