Ultimate NL is looking for a new Communications Director

Ultimate NL is the provincial sports organization for ultimate frisbee in Newfoundland and Labrador. We are a volunteer-run non-profit dedicated to managing and growing the sport of ultimate in our province.

The Communications Director plays a key role in achieving this goal. From October 2020 to October 2021, we are seeking an enthusiastic volunteer to fill this role.

Responsibilities include:
  1. Leading Ultimate NL’s communications outreach, including managing social media channels (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram) and the website.
  2. Developing web stories promptly to promote Ultimate NL news and programs.
  3. Collaborating with board members to gather news items and photos for the website and social media.
  4. Creating and distributing a monthly newsletter via MailChimp.
  5. Managing the Ultimate NL website (WordPress) to ensure content is current and relevant.
  6. Attending and contributing to monthly board meetings.
  7. Managing sponsor obligations related to online presence and outreach.
