JOB SUMMARY
Responsible for leading advanced configuration, optimization, and support of UKG systems to ensure scalable, compliant, and efficient workforce management, payroll, and HR operations. Provides subject matter expertise in system design, integrations, and process automation to meet organizational requirements and regulatory standards. Ensures system performance and data integrity through proactive monitoring, audits, and advanced troubleshooting. Collaborates with HR, payroll, IT, and vendors on complex projects, upgrades, and enterprise-wide initiatives. Develops standards, mentors team members, and drives continuous improvement to sustain reliable and future-ready UKG platforms.
DUTIES AND ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Overall performance rating of below indicated essential job duties:
- Leads advanced configuration and maintenance of UKG modules including timekeeping, scheduling, accruals, payroll, HR integrations, and compliance rules.
- Designs, documents, and implements complex pay policies, accrual calculations, leave programs, and integration workflows to align with organizational and regulatory requirements.
- Serves as a subject matter expert on UKG system capabilities, advising stakeholders on solutions, best practices, and optimization strategies.
- Leads testing, validation, and deployment of upgrades, patches, and enhancements, ensuring minimal disruption to operations.
- Troubleshoots and resolves escalated UKG issues including complex data discrepancies, integration errors, and systemic performance challenges.
- Partners with HR, payroll, IT, and vendors on enterprise initiatives, ensuring alignment with business priorities and system roadmaps.
- Develops and enforces standards for security, audit readiness, and compliance in user roles and system access.
- Creates and maintains technical specifications, workflows, knowledge base articles, and configuration documentation to support long-term sustainability.
- Provides training, mentoring, and guidance to junior analysts, enhancing team expertise and knowledge transfer.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
EDUCATION/LICENSE/CERTIFICATION/OTHER REQUIREMENTS
Minimum requirement:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- 5+ years of experience
