Responsibilities

Position Summary:

As a UI/UX Developer, you will be responsible for the user interface and user experience of our software applications. You’ll also contribute to front-end development and usability testing, ensuring that the final product not only looks great but functions seamlessly across platforms. This role offers an opportunity to learn and grow in a dynamic team environment while honing your design and development skills.

What will your typical day look like?

• Prioritize front-end development tasks based on project requirements and deadlines.
• Create wireframes, mockups, and prototypes using tools like Figma or Adobe XD.
• Translate UI/UX designs into functional web interfaces using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and frameworks like React or Angular.
• Optimize applications for speed, scalability, and cross-browser compatibility.
• Deploy front-end changes to development, staging, and production environments using CI/CD pipelines.
• Conduct usability testing and gather feedback to refine designs.
• Debug and resolve UI issues across devices and platforms.
• Write and execute unit tests and integration tests to validate front-end functionality and performance.
• Document front-end components, APIs, and workflows for easier maintenance and knowledge sharing.
• Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality, readability, and adherence to coding standards.
• Collaborate with team members, including backend developers, to achieve project goals.
• Stay updated on front-end development trends, tools, and best practices through self-learning and team discussions.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Ability to work in Agile/Scrum environments
• Ability to design and implement RESTful APIs and integrate third-party services and APIs.
• Knowledge of containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes
• Expertise in UI/UX, wireframing and UAT.
• Expertise in data security, encryption, and compliance with current industry standards.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and methodologies.
