Imagine Cities is a non-profit social enterprise guiding cities through rapid urbanization. We offer digital experiences for clients via a website and three digital products: a city research search engine, learning guides, and the Creative Neighbourhood Lab.
You will lead UI/UX development for our website and digital products, create learning assets, gather requirements, and guide design decisions from a UI/UX perspective.

To achieve our organizational goals, we offer a completely digital experience for our clients. In addition to our website, this includes 3 digital products: search engine (Google but for cities research), learning guides (Coursera for city development), and our Creative Neighbourhood Lab (a talent hub for neighbourhood organizations).
You will be responsible for developing the UI/UX for our website and digital products. In addition, you will be responsible for creating design assets for our learning guides and courses. You are responsible for gathering requirements, designing graphic elements, including the buildout of navigation components. You will also be responsible for providing guidance from a UI/UX perspective.
Graduated or enrolled in a University degree or College diploma or certificate program
Effective oral and written communication skills
Ability to work as part of a team, a give and take approach but also the ability to stand up for something you feel strongly about
Experience working in design, preferably UI/UX design
Knowledge of design software and wireframe tools
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
A flexible, curious, and creative mentality
Strong organizational skills and an ability to keep on top of a workload
