Your role:
Reporting to the VP of Finance, the US Tax Manager is chiefly responsible for the oversight of Global Relay’s dynamic United States tax function. As a highly integrated global business headquartered in Vancouver, Canada, the US Tax Manager will work closely alongside our Tax Manager in managing Global Relay’s corporate and indirect tax compliance. The US Tax Manager is an individual who is familiar with key concepts of US taxation, such as corporate tax, indirect taxes (sales and use tax), and other tax regimes that may be applicable to Global Relay such as gross receipts and franchise taxes. This role is highly collaborative with our Financial Reporting, AR & Billing, and Payroll teams to ensure that US tax compliance is timely, accurate, and responsive to an ever-growing business. Candidates for the US Tax Manager role should be able to take a broad strategic view of the tax function while also being able to roll up their sleeves to ensure comprehensive analysis and problem solving of tax matters. This role is perfect for someone familiar with US tax concepts but wanting to grow their career at a company headquartered in Canada with expanding footprints in many jurisdictions globally, including within in the United States. This role focuses on the US but also requires your involvement in our international tax matters outside of the US.

About you:
Location: we have one opening for this position, available to qualified candidates in either Canada or the US. Preference may be given to candidates who can work from one of our office locations.
Compensation:
Global Relay advertises the pay range for this role in compliance with British Columbia’s pay transparency laws. Individual pay rates are determined by evaluating factors such as expertise, skills, education, and professional background.
The range below reflects the expected annual base salary, which is only one element of our comprehensive total rewards package designed to reflect our company pay philosophy, culture and values. We aim to foster an inspiring work environment and support employees' work-life rhythms.
