Job summary

Micheldever Group via Protyre Autocare is looking for a skilled Tyre Technician to join its fast-growing network. You will carry out tyre fitting and repairs across a variety of cars and light vehicles, maintaining high workmanship standards and delivering excellent customer service.

The role requires a full clean UK driving licence and an automotive qualification, with opportunities for funded IMI training and a range of staff benefits within a supportive team environment.

Responsibilities

• Accurate tyre repairs and fitting to all makes of vehicles.
• Providing quality workmanship and seeking guidance when necessary
• Remove and refit components and carry out related adjustments
• Ensure work is completed safely and to a high standard
• Inform customers/management of any additional faults found
• Keep vehicle clean of dirt, oil, or marks after the job
• Maintain accurate documentation in line with company policies

OurTyre Fitters / Techniciansare responsible for carrying out tyre fitting and tyre repairs on a variety of cars and light vehicles, maintaining the highest quality of workmanship and delivering excellent customer service.

Essential:

Full Clean UK Driving Licence, held for at least 6 months (age restrictions may apply – points or offences may affect your application)

Qualification in an Automotive field

About the role:

Accurate tyre repairs and fitting to all makes of vehicles.

Always providing quality workmanship, seeking advice and guidance when necessary

Remove and refit components and carry out related adjustments.

Ensuring the work completed on each vehicle is carried out safely and to a high standard.

Making customers and/or management aware of any additional faults found on the customers vehicle.

Ensure that the customer’s vehicle is cleaned of any dirt/oil, or any other, marks resulting from the job you have carried out

To maintain accurate documentation in line with company policies and procedures

About you:

Proven experience and background as a competent Tyre Technician either through experience gained through continued employment or an Apprenticeship

Full Clean UK Driving Licence

Able to produce high quality work within specified time frames, using your own initiative

Able to work independently or as part of a busy team in a fast-paced dynamic environment

The ability to multitask and make appropriate decisions to benefit company performance

Friendly and approachable manner
