The University of Manitoba invites applications for a Teaching Assistant/Demonstrator/Seminar Leader for STAT 1000 Basic Statistical Analysis 1, CUPE 3909 Unit 1 (Students). Applicants will be expected to tutor small groups and individual students as requested: assist and encourage students to use available resources and to develop effective study techniques; attend professional development sessions; assess student's progress; and report to the tutor coordinator. Applicants must indicate relevant experience in their cover letter, include a list of 2 references in their CV. Preference will be given to candidates who plan to attend the tutor training session offered by the Academic Learning Centre, or who have the tutor-training course.
