Job description

As the Turnover Foreman based out of Edmonton, you will be responsible for the coordination of all on-site turnover tasks including commissioning, move-ins, and inter-company communications. You will work closely with Regional Facilities and Operations teams, Home Office, and Seymour Pacific Developments to resolve risks and issues through effective communication and problem solving.


Your contribution to the team includes:

  1. Consistent communication with regional teams and other key stakeholders
  2. Directing and overseeing the Regional Commissioning teams
  3. Ensuring properties meet established operational standards
  4. Supporting commissioning tasks at each new property
  5. Establish and communicate changing priorities
  6. Act as a point of contact with on-site Seymour Pacific construction team
  7. Evaluate and communicate risks with home office coordinator staff
  8. Travel to turnover sites to facilitate on-site representation
  9. Be the key contact for third-party trades during turnover
  10. Schedule third-party contractors and work alongside them
  11. Pre-plan and problem solve before turnovers
  12. Work with site teams and Head Office staff to assess building condition and alternative options for tenants

What you need to be successful:

  1. Minimum 2 years’ experience in a Project Coordination role
  2. Demonstrated success in project delivery and execution of project management methods
  3. Experience with various stages of residential construction
  4. Proven ability to work effectively both independently and in a team
  5. Knowledge of Microsoft Office programs
  6. Demonstrated willingness to be flexible and adaptable to changing priorities
  7. Effective communication skills including verbal, written, and presentation skills
  8. Strong multi-tasking and organizational skills
  9. Ability to travel to various new properties throughout Canada
  10. Other duties as assigned
