Job description

Our Red Deer, AB branch is looking for an exceptional individual to join our service department as a Turf Service Technician for our Agriculture Division (John Deere).

Duties & Responsibilities
  1. Efficiently and effectively evaluate the working condition of, diagnose, assemble/disassemble, order parts for, and repair heavy duty equipment.
  2. Use secondary materials and equipment safely and efficiently.
  3. Use related instruments, hand and power tools, secondary equipment, and computer systems.
  4. Accurately and completely document on work orders all machine information, actions taken, and time taken.
  5. Continuously assess service task hazards and ensure work is performed safely and to accepted standards.
  6. Use computer applications and information systems (e.g., John Deere Service Advisor) to document maintenance, inspection, and diagnosis.
  7. Use parts catalogues to locate parts and order them from parts personnel.
  8. Road test equipment and check attachment operation as required.
