Brandt Group of Companies in Saskatoon is seeking a Turf Service Technician for our Agriculture Division (John Deere). You will diagnose, repair, and service heavy‑duty equipment, document work, and ensure safety and quality on every task.

Qualified candidates bring heavy equipment experience, a Journeyperson in Heavy Duty Equipment, and strong customer service and communication skills. Lifting up to 50 pounds is required; the role offers competitive wages and benefits.

Qualifications

• Heavy equipment maintenance experience required or preferred.
• Journeyperson in Heavy Duty Equipment trade or equivalent designation.
• Commitment to customer service and strong communication with customers and team.
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds and operate safely around equipment.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate working condition of heavy equipment and diagnose issues.
• Assemble/disassemble and repair equipment; order parts as needed.
• Use tools and computer systems to document maintenance actions.
• Record all machine information and time on work orders.
• Assess task hazards and ensure safe work practices.
• Use John Deere Service Advisor to document maintenance and inspections.
• Road test equipment and verify attachment operation as required.

Our Saskatoon branch is looking for an exceptional individual to join our service department as a Turf Service Technician for our Agriculture Division (John Deere).

What You Will Be Responsible For

• Efficiently and effectively evaluate the working condition of, diagnose, assemble/disassemble, order parts for, and repair heavy duty equipment
• Use secondary materials and equipment safely and efficiently
• Use related instruments, hand and power tools, secondary equipment, and computer systems
• Accurately and completely document on work orders all machine information, actions taken, and time taken
• Continually assess service task hazards and ensure work is performed safely, and to accepted standards
• Use computer applications and information systems (i.e. John Deere Service Advisor) to document maintenance, inspection, and diagnosis
• Use parts catalogues to locate parts, and order parts from parts personnel
• Road test equipment and check attachment operation as required

What We Look For

• Previous mechanical experience in a heavy equipment environment is preferred
• Certified Journeyperson in the Heavy Duty Equipment technician trade or equivalent designated trade preferred
• Must be committed to customer service and service excellence
• Must have the ability to communicate and work effectively with customers, the service team, and branch personnel
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
