As a Service Technician specializing in turf and commercial construction equipment, you’ll have the opportunity to keep our customers’ essential machinery in prime condition. Your technical expertise and problem-solving skills will make a real difference, ensuring reliable performance for each piece of equipment. Keep the Machines Running: Utilize advanced tools and diagnostic technology to repair and maintain a wide range of equipment including handheld products, walk-behind equipment, riding lawn mowers, commercial lawn mowers, compact tractors, and skid steers.

Preventative Maintenance: Perform routine inspections and maintenance to prevent downtime and optimize equipment performance, especially when it's needed most.

Tech-Savvy: Use specialized programs to access digital manuals, run diagnostics, and perform precise repairs and upgrades on a variety of equipment brands.

Team Collaboration: Work alongside a skilled, supportive team, sharing knowledge and tackling complex technical issues together.

Continuous Learning: Take advantage of company-sponsored training opportunities to expand your knowledge and stay ahead of the curve.

Safety First: Adhere to all safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and your colleagues.





Requirements

Education: Third or fourth year Apprentice Automotive Service Technician preferred. Journeyperson Certificate is an asset.

Experience: 3+ years in automotive, power sports, and small engine repair. Previous John Deere turf, grounds care, and/or commercial construction equipment experience is an asset.

Technical Skills: Proficiency in computer-based diagnostic tools, electrical systems, engine repair, and inspections.

People-Focused: Team player with a friendly, professional attitude and focus on customer service.

Soft Skills: Attention to Detail, strong time management, ability to work independently, and adaptability.

Physical Capability: Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 lbs with long periods of standing and walking.

Valid Driver's License: You'll need this and a clean driver's abstract for work-related travel.
