Responsibilities:

• Help clients complete their tax returns using TurboTax products, providing guidance and reviewing personal tax returns for customers who prepare their taxes themselves.
• Utilize government websites, professional resources, and team expertise to find accurate answers and assist clients effectively.
• Engage with customers via our advanced video communication tools, documenting interactions thoroughly to maintain accurate records.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years of paid professional tax preparation experience.
• Ability to provide your CRA RepID for client representation purposes.
• Experience with complex personal tax situations, including employment, self-employment, rental income, investments, foreign income, and various credits.
• Excellent customer service skills and confidence in professional video and audio communication.
• Flexible availability for at least 20 hours per week.

Preferred:

• Experience preparing Business (T2) and Quebec (TP1) tax returns.

Skills & Abilities:

• Deep understanding of tax laws and concepts, with a proactive approach to learning and staying updated.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with active listening skills to understand customer needs.
• Ability to analyze and resolve complex issues, escalating when necessary.
• Curiosity and resourcefulness in seeking out information and solutions.
• Technical aptitude to troubleshoot and use relevant tools effectively.

Intuit offers a competitive compensation package, including base pay ranging from $24.50 to $33.50 per hour depending on location, with potential bonuses and benefits.
