Responsibilities:

• Help clients complete their income tax returns using TurboTax software.
• Provide tax advice, review personal tax returns, and handle product/software inquiries.
• Use government websites, professional resources, and team expertise to find accurate answers.
• Use our advanced video communication tools to interact with clients and document interactions for accurate record-keeping.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years paid professional tax preparation experience.
• Ability to provide your CRA RepID for client representation.
• Experience with complex personal tax returns, including employment, self-employment, rental income, investments, foreign income, and credits.
• Excellent customer service skills and ability to communicate professionally via video and audio tools.
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule with at least 20 hours per week.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience preparing Business (T2) and Quebec (TP1) tax returns.

Compensation:

Competitive hourly pay from $24.50 to $33.50, depending on location, with potential bonuses, equity rewards, and benefits. Pay is based on experience, skills, and work location. We ensure ongoing pay equity across categories of ethnicity and gender.

How you will lead

• Assist clients with their income tax filings using TurboTax products.
• Review and guide clients through their self-prepared returns or full-service filing.
• Use professional and government resources to provide accurate, understandable answers.
• Engage with clients via our state-of-the-art video tools and maintain detailed records of interactions.
