Responsibilities include:

• Providing expert tax assistance to clients, reviewing and preparing personal tax returns, including complex situations such as employment, self-employment, rental income, investments, foreign income, and various credits and deductions.
• Using professional tax software to prepare and file tax returns accurately and efficiently.
• Offering excellent customer service through virtual interactions, ensuring clients understand their tax situations and solutions.
• Maintaining detailed records of client interactions and ensuring compliance with tax regulations.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years paid experience in professional tax preparation.
• Ability to provide CRA RepID and use the Représenter un client service.
• Experience with complex tax situations and professional tax software.
• Strong customer service skills and ability to communicate effectively via video and audio tools.
• Willingness to work at least 20 hours per week with a flexible schedule.

Additional assets:

• Experience with corporate (T2) and Quebec (TP1) tax returns.

Compensation and benefits:

Competitive hourly pay based on location and experience, ranging from $24.50 to $33.50 per hour, with eligibility for bonuses, stock rewards, and social benefits, in accordance with company programs.

How you will lead:

• Assist clients in completing their income tax returns using TurboTax, providing guidance and reviewing self-prepared returns.
• Utilize government websites, professional resources, and team expertise to deliver accurate answers in understandable terms.
• This is a virtual role involving customer interactions via advanced video communication tools, with proper documentation of all interactions.
