Responsibilities

• Assist clients in completing their tax returns using TurboTax products, providing guidance and reviewing their self-prepared returns, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
• Use government websites, professional resources, and team expertise to find and deliver accurate answers in understandable terms.
• Interact with customers via video and audio tools in a professional, friendly, and confident manner, documenting all interactions for accurate record-keeping.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of paid professional tax preparation experience.
• Ability to provide CRA RepID for client representation upon onboarding.
• Experience with professional tax software for personal and complex tax returns, including employment, self-employment, rental income, investments, T1135 forms, foreign income, and credits/deductions.
• Strong customer service skills and ability to communicate effectively through video and audio tools.
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule with at least 20 hours per week.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience preparing Business (T2) and Quebec (TP1) tax returns.

Compensation

Intuit offers a competitive pay structure based on performance, with base pay ranging from $24.50 to $33.50 per hour depending on the region. Additional bonuses, equity rewards, and benefits are available, based on performance and eligibility. Pay equity is maintained through regular comparisons across categories of ethnicity and gender.
