Responsibilities:

• Assist clients in completing their tax returns using TurboImpôt software.
• Provide tax guidance and review personal tax returns, including complex cases with employment, self-employment, rental income, investments, foreign income, and credits.
• Use government websites, professional resources, and team expertise to find accurate answers and communicate them clearly to clients.
• Interact with clients via video and audio tools in a professional and friendly manner, documenting interactions for accurate record-keeping.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2+ years of paid professional tax preparation experience.
• Ability to provide your CRA RepID for client representation services.
• Experience with professional tax software and preparing various types of tax returns, including T2 and TP1 (asset qualifications).
• Strong customer service skills, with a passion for helping clients navigate tax complexities.
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule, minimum 20 hours per week.

• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, with active listening abilities.
• Strong problem-solving skills, capable of analyzing issues and escalating when necessary.

Compensation:

Competitive hourly pay ranging from $24.50 to $33.50, based on location and experience, with eligibility for bonuses, stock rewards, and benefits.

• Help clients complete their tax returns, review self-prepared returns, and manage product inquiries.
• Use state-of-the-art video software to interact with clients and document interactions for accurate records.
