Responsibilities include:

• Providing expert tax assistance to clients, including reviewing and preparing personal tax returns, and managing inquiries related to software and tax filing processes.
• Utilizing professional tax software and government resources to ensure accurate and compliant filings.
• Interacting with clients via video and audio tools in a professional, friendly, and confident manner.
• Working flexible hours, with a minimum of 20 hours per week.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years paid professional tax preparation experience.
• Ability to provide CRA RepID and use CRA's Représenter un client service.
• Experience with complex tax situations, including employment, self-employment, rental income, investments, foreign income, and various credits.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Willingness to work flexible hours.

Preferred:

• Experience with corporate (T2) and Quebec (TP1) tax returns.

Skills & Abilities:

• Deep understanding of tax laws and concepts, with a commitment to continuous learning.
• Effective communication skills, empathetic listening, and problem-solving abilities.
• Technical proficiency with tax software and troubleshooting.
