SGRE is seeking talented and motivated candidates for a technician position based in Saskatchewan.

The technician will diagnose and resolve problems independently and efficiently, provide excellent customer service, work on complex systems in challenging environments, and contribute to the development of new field procedures and best practices. Safety and quality are central to our culture, and the ideal candidate will prioritize both. Travel may be over 50% in the first year for training, reducing to 25% in subsequent years as per business needs. Relocation assistance may be provided if necessary.

How You’ll Make an Impact
  • Report any HSE, Quality, or safety violations immediately to the Site Lead or Site Manager.
  • Perform service and maintenance of wind turbines.
  • Troubleshoot errors on wind turbines.
  • Ensure the site team works safely, follows work instructions, and operates efficiently.
  • Be self-motivated, think quickly, and address issues proactively.
  • Work a flexible schedule and analyze and resolve issues independently and efficiently.
What You Bring
  • High School Diploma or 3+ years of wind industry experience, with an Associate's or Trade School Degree/Certification.
  • Ability to climb heights up to 250 feet or more and work in confined spaces.
  • Must meet body weight restrictions of 265 pounds or less as per safety regulations.
  • Commitment to a safe work culture.
  • Relevant experience in electrical, mechanical, hydraulic maintenance, troubleshooting, or related industries such as industrial or automotive.
