Qualifications

  • Minimum of three years' experience in industrial manufacturing.
  • Two years' experience in a supervisory role.
  • Demonstrated knowledge in calibration and testing.

Job description

Job Description and Responsibilities

  • Supervises the day-to-day operations of hourly employees working in the lab.

  • Provides performance feedback, coaching, and training of employees

  • Performs calibration and routine maintenance of equipment to ensure optimal performance and compliance with operational and quality standards.

  • Attend daily production meetings.

  • Review testing requirements for each product

  • Drive continuous improvement, with a focus on safety performance, takt time and consumable costs

  • Conducts qualification testing with third party inspectors

  • Review quality test results with Product Specialists to facilitate pipe release

Job Requirements

  • Post secondary education in related field

  • Minimum of three (3) years' experience working in an industrial manufacturing environment

  • Demonstrated experience of two years in a supervisory role.

  • Ability to work effectively with others

  • Strong interpersonal skills, ability to interact with individuals at various levels within the organization.

  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize responsibilities and work independently with minimal supervision.

  • Strong attention to detail, close observation, and concentration

  • Strong communication and time management skills.

  • Demonstrated knowledge in calibration and lab testing procedures.

  • Light work: exerting up to 20 lb of force occasionally, and/or up to 10 lb frequently
