Salary starts at $63,347 per annum, paid over 10 months, and additional allowances may be offered according to the collective agreement. Applicants must hold or be eligible for a Professional Teaching Certificate and demonstrate fluency in Tsilhqot’in.

Qualifications

• Professional Teaching Certificate or eligible.
• Fluency in Tsilhqot'in language, oral and written.
• Experience teaching in a classroom.
• Ability to produce lesson plans and overview resources.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with school team to advance students' educational goals.
• Engage in language/culture professional development and courses.
• Provide and assess feedback to students and parents, including report cards.
