School District No. 27 invites applications for a 1.0 FTE Full Time Temporary assignment in 100 Mile House, BC, effective immediately until June 30, 2027.

Salary is based on the district grid and BC TQS, with a current range of CAD 63,347 to CAD 116,190 per year, paid over 10 months.

The position requires BC Teacher Regulation Branch Certification and experience teaching Humanities at the secondary level; relocation allowance may be offered.

Description Of Assignment

1.0 FTE Full Time Temporary effective immediately until June 30th, 2027.

Salary

The salary of this assignment is based on our current salary grid and upon verification of your BC TQS as well as verification of years of service from previous employers. The current salary range is $63, 347.00 to $116, 190.00 per annum, paid over 10 months.

Special Qualifications Required

• Must be legally eligible to work in Canada. This position will not be supported by an LMIA job offer.
• Valid BC Teacher Regulation Branch Certification
• Training and experience teaching Humanities at the secondary level

Teachers can expect to see the educational leaders in our District, up to 2 days prior to a Professional Development Day, offering hands on coaching both in the classroom and in sessions (evening or during the Professional Development Day). Our local teachers' union, the Cariboo Chilcotin Teachers' Association, also boasts strong collective agreement language regarding Professional Development as well as financial support for their members to engage in opportunities.
