Position Overview

Sarens Canada is currently recruiting for a Project Engineer. This is a full-time, permanent position reporting to the Branch Manager or Project Manager.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop engineering drawings, such as lifting plans, rigging plans, and transport arrangements.
  • Produce equipment calculations and operational procedures.
  • Stamp drawings according to requirements and design.
  • Supervise on-site operations if required.
  • Execute engineering on-site.
Ideal Candidate Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, industrial, or civil engineering, or equivalent experience.
  • Professional Engineer license in Ontario or other Canadian Engineering Orders.
  • 1-5 years of experience as a project engineer or project manager in heavy lifting, crane, or transportation industries.
  • Strong experience with AutoCAD and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Knowledge of industry standards, regulations, and best practices.
  • 3D software proficiency.
  • Construction experience.
