We have been assigned by one of the UK's most prestigious NHS Trusts to help recruit a Trust Grade Registrar in Emergency Medicine, available on either a Substantive or NHS Fixed Term basis for 12 months, to join their successful A&E department.
Our client is one of the largest integrated care Trusts in the country, bringing together hospital and community services, serving 9,000 staff, including 1,300 doctors and 4,000 nurses. They serve a diverse population of approximately 850,000 with a budget of over £640 million.
This Emergency Department offers an excellent opportunity for the right candidate who strives to provide outstanding emergency care. The department has developed a thriving multidisciplinary team of clinical and non-clinical members, many working cross-site. Recent years have seen significant expansion in their Emergency Medicine Consultant numbers, as well as the development of roles such as Physician Associates and Advanced Clinical Practitioners. In 2019, they were awarded the title of “Most Improved ED in London,” and recent CQC inspections have highlighted areas of outstanding practice.
