Provides high quality sales and service to Trust & Estate clients to deliver an exceptional client experience. Offers technical expertise for all aspects of Trust & Estate account management and administration to ensure compliance. Collaborates within the branch and regional team as part of the client/relationship management solution. Identifies and refers clients to other business groups as appropriate.

  • Assists in preparing new business proposals or presentations based on client needs.
  • Builds rapport and confidence with clients to develop credibility as part of the relationship team.
  • Maintains knowledge of Trust and Estate products, services, and procedures.
  • Coordinates activities for strategic initiatives, including tracking metrics and milestones.
  • Works with internal and external stakeholders to meet business objectives.
  • Sets up & maintains Trust & Estate accounts ensuring compliance requirements are met timely.
  • Processes trade orders accurately and promptly.
  • Supports audits and compliance reviews as needed.
  • Escalates irregularities to management.
  • Provides sales & service support to meet client needs and service levels.
  • Supports administrative tasks like financial reporting, asset & account reconciliation, compliance, and trade activities.
  • Ensures high-quality service to maximize relationship retention and growth.
  • Builds trust and confidence with clients.
  • Adheres to risk and compliance policies to protect assets and maintain privacy.
  • Protects bank assets and complies with legal and ethical standards.
  • Handles complex tasks and escalations within rules and limits.
  • Analyzes issues and determines next steps.
  • Performs additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications :

  • Typically 2-3 years of relevant experience; post-secondary degree preferred or equivalent experience.
  • Basic knowledge of Estate and Trust products and services.
  • Trust industry experience is an asset.
  • Applicable securities certification.
  • Good verbal & written communication skills.
  • Good organizational skills.
  • Good collaboration & team skills.
  • Good analytical and problem-solving skills.

Salary : $36,600.00 - $67,500.00

Pay Type : Salaried

The pay range and type are representative of BMO Financial Group. Salaries vary based on location, skills, experience, education, and qualifications, and may include commissions. Salaries for part-time roles are pro-rated. The listed salary for commission roles is the expected first-year target.
