What You’ll Be Doing

The Trust Administrator (TA) supports all key business processes for CIBC Trust to maintain effective controls and business operations. This role manages the administrative needs that spans across functions such as expense management, compliance, reporting, and other relevant business requirements.

This role reports to the Senior Manager, Business Effectiveness and works with a number of stakeholders across CIBC to meet business needs. Primary contacts will include leaders and advisors across the Insurance, Trust, and Wealth Planning.

This role is critical to promoting the efficient operation of Trust business and in turn, helping front line advisors create value and meet business objectives.

How you’ll succeed

  • Operational Support - Assist the Trust team with expense management; Advisor support and preliminary research for inquiries received and investigations.
  • Compliance – Follows through on the risk and compliance processes and policies to ensure we safeguard our customers’ assets, maintain their privacy, act in their best interests, and ensures an effectively run function.
  • Reporting – Business engagement and tracking, along with data consolidation and reporting for internal partners, including Regional Directors (RDs), Senior Trust & Estate Consultants and other members of the national Financial Planning, Insurance and Trust team. Provides administrative support to team members and relationship managers that includes financial reports, asset & account reconciliation, compliance, trade activity, posting, fee collection and other related activities; ensures proper documentation and administration decisions.
  • Communication and Documentation- Develop and maintain professional client relationships.. Maintain & Update presentation materials, manage marketing materials and ensure Trust content is current. Manage general team updates and communications.
