Our client is seeking a driven and experienced Trucks Sales Specialist to join their dynamic sales team. This is a key customer-facing role, responsible for driving strategic sales growth across an assigned territory (Northern Nova Scotia and PEI or HRM, Valley, and South Shore). The ideal candidate will have a passion for building long-term relationships, identifying customer needs, and delivering tailored commercial truck solutions focused on the Volvo product line.
Responsibilities :
- Develop and execute sales strategies to meet and exceed Volvo truck sales targets.
- Manage and grow key accounts through relationship-building and consistent follow-up.
- Collaborate with internal teams to support a seamless sales process and exceptional customer experience.
- Maintain strong relationships with manufacturer partners to stay aligned on product updates and programs.
- Stay informed on Volvo trucks’ product features, competitive advantages, and industry trends.
- Oversee inventory planning, ordering, and pricing aligned with market demands.
- Lead marketing initiatives and promotional campaigns within the territory.
- Use CRM tools to track sales activity, maintain pipelines, and generate reports.
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development programs.
- Uphold company policies and contribute positively to team culture and brand reputation.
Requirements :
- Proven sales experience, preferably in commercial vehicle or heavy-duty truck sectors.
- Strong customer focus and relationship management skills.
- Excellent communication, time management, and organizational abilities.
- Mechanical and product knowledge of commercial trucks is a strong asset.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM systems.
- Valid driver’s license and passport (or ability to obtain one).
- Self-motivated, adaptable, and able to work independently and in team environments.
