Overview

Air Liquide is Hiring for a Truck-trailer Maintenance in Hamilton!

Responsibilities
  • Daily activities include preparation of rolling stock equipment and ancillary equipment utilized to tie into customer systems.
  • Rig in and pressure test equipment before operating nitrogen or liquid pumping equipment.
  • Continuous checking and monitoring of equipment as well as safety and indicator gauges and systems.
  • De-mobilizing and returning to base to help maintain equipment.
  • Perform routine / preventive maintenance and repairs on trailers, including electrical, mechanical, hydraulic and structural components.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot issues with trailers and determine the appropriate course of action for repairs.
  • Assemble and disassemble trailer components as needed.
  • Maintain accurate records of all repairs and maintenance performed.
  • Use hand tools, power tools, and industrial equipment to complete repairs and maintenance tasks.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work area, and follow all workshop procedures and company policies related to occupational health & safety regulations.
Qualifications

Required Qualifications :

  • A valid 310T or 310J Truck / Trailer Technician license is required.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience.
  • Strong knowledge of diesel engines, hydraulic systems, brake systems, and electrical systems.
  • Ability to lift heavy parts and work in physically demanding environments.

Preferred Qualifications :

  • Welding experience is an asset.
