Job summary

Torque Spec Truck and Trailer Repair Ltd. is seeking an experienced automotive technician to service and repair commercial transport truck systems at our on-site facility in Canada.

The ideal candidate has 1–2 years of relevant experience and a secondary school diploma or equivalent. You will inspect, diagnose, repair, and test mechanical units, advise customers on needed work, and ensure repairs meet manufacturer specifications.

Qualifications

• Secondary school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
• 1 year to less than 2 years of experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Adjust, repair or replace parts and components of commercial transport truck systems.
• Confirm findings with supervisor to determine whether to repair or replace unit.
• Inspect and test mechanical units to locate faults and malfunctions.
• Inspect mechanical units to locate faults and malfunctions.
• Adjust, repair or replace parts and components of truck-trailer systems.
• Repair or replace mechanical units or components.
• Test and adjust repaired systems to manufacturer's specifications.
• Advise customers on work performed and future repair requirements.
• Provide customer service.
