Job description

As a Truck & Coach Technician, you are an integral member of our team. You will be responsible for maintenance and repairs on trucks, trailers, and tankers, troubleshooting and diagnosing defects, and offering top-quality performance in a safe and professional manner.

We are looking for experienced technicians who:

  • Are licensed as a 310J Truck & Trailer Service Technician
  • Are skilled in mechanical repairs, welding, and electrical systems
  • Are proficient in diagnosing malfunctions and performing necessary repairs
  • Can accurately and thoroughly annotate repair orders for every job
  • Conduct safety inspections, road tests, and assessments to identify service needs
  • Review and finalize work orders with attention to detail
  • Adhere to workplace health & safety regulations
Qualifications

To join our team, you must have:

  • A valid G Class Driver’s License and be in good standing
  • The capability to use a computer to update and log work orders
  • The ability to maintain required tools for the role

HVPD is the largest network in the country, with over 100 Traction heavy vehicle parts stores, 3 TW distribution centres, more than 100 TruckPro repair centres, and 3 Cadel specialized parts distribution centres across the country.
