Responsibilities

  • Maintenance and preventative maintenance of the company fleet to ensure efficient operation
  • Inspect, diagnose, and conduct repairs of the company fleet
  • Follow and practice workplace health and safety regulations and ensure proper disposal of hazardous waste
  • Other related tasks, as assigned

Qualifications

  • Nova Scotia Motor Vehicle Inspection certification required; Volvo experience is an asset
  • Red Seal Interprovincial Certification is an asset
  • Registered and in good standing with the province of Nova Scotia trade school
  • Ability to understand and use a computer and diagnostic tools
  • They have their own tools
  • A motivated self-starter who takes pride in what they do
  • A team player with a positive attitude and a fast learner
  • Always safety-oriented
