U-Haul is seeking a preventive maintenance technician in Calgary to service the latest fleet, performing oil changes, tire and brake maintenance, lubrication, and inspections. The role involves hands-on work on Ford and GMC trucks and opportunities to grow through training programs.

You will use U-Haul’s tools and proprietary checklists, with a paid hands-on interview and potential for advancement within a family-oriented team environment.

Qualifications

• Basic mechanical aptitude and repair experience are preferred.
• Driver’s license required.
• Ability to work as part of a team as well as independently.
• Regular attendance and reliability are essential.

Responsabilités

• Secure trucks on lifts and ramps.
• Lubricate suspensions, perform oil changes and replace minor parts.
• Perform tire and brake maintenance.
• Occasionally road-test vehicles.
• Use a proprietary electronic pre-inspection checklist.
