Truck Drivers – Concrete Products

(Full-Time Positions – Kingston and Prescott, Ontario)

Planes Precast Concrete Ltd., established in the 1950s and purchased in 1987 by the Best Family, has a reputation for high-quality products. We are recognized as a “one-stop shop” supplier of:

  • Concrete Hard Products (retaining walls, interlocking paving stones/slabs, natural stone, masonry brick);
  • Packaged Products (concrete, sand and mortar mixes, cement powder, specialty sand & aggregates);
  • Precast Concrete Products (septic tanks, steps, well tile, traffic barriers, etc.).

We are seeking experienced DZ or AZ Truck drivers for immediate full-time positions. The work schedule is Monday to Friday, with occasional Saturdays. The role involves:

  1. Performing trip pre-inspections on equipment and payload to ensure safety and roadworthiness;
  2. Checking load-related documentation for completeness and accuracy;
  3. Reporting vehicle defects, accidents, traffic violations, or vehicle damage to dispatch;
  4. Performing periodic inspections before, during, and after delivery to ensure load security;
  5. Delivering products and proper paperwork to customers courteously and promptly;
  6. Providing feedback to dispatch regarding customer issues, mechanical problems, or delivery concerns;
  7. Completing all necessary end-of-shift paperwork, including logs, inspection reports, delivery receipts, and hours of service;
  8. Communicating effectively with the public, customers, and co-workers both verbally and in writing;
  9. Assisting with loading and unloading trucks.
