Qualifications

Trouw Nutrition specializes in animal nutrition and is committed to advancing livestock health and productivity through cutting-edge solutions.

Trouw Nutrition is hiring a permanent full-time Truck Driver who is responsible for ensuring accurate, efficient and timely delivery of feed products while providing courteous, quality-conscious customer service. The truck driver should be flexible to work in Ste Anne and Otterburne and be available to work four (4) 10-hour shifts.

Our truck: Tanker style trailer with hydraulic powered auger.

Rosenort facility: Highway 205 West, Box 159 Rosenort, Manitoba R0G 1W0

Responsibilities:

  • Delivers loads of feed as assigned;
  • Vehicle care and maintenance;
  • Performs daily pre-trip and weekly truck/trailer inspections;
  • Maintains accurate log book;
  • Performs all paperwork according to business requirements;
  • Some heavy physical effort is required; ability to lift up to 25 kg bags of feed;

Skills and Expertise

Qualifications:

  • Grade 12 or equivalent;
  • Minimum 2 years truck & trailer driving experience;
  • AZ/Class 1 license with clean driver’s abstract;
  • Must be able to drive Manual / Standard transmission
  • Feed and/or Agriculture experience is an asset

Expectation from the Role:

  • Full Time; Shift work required – Afternoons & Evenings.
  • Self-motivated – able to work independently with minimal supervision;
  • Demonstrate a commitment to customer service.
  • Comfortable driving in rural settings.
  • Positive work ethic and attitude; willingness and ability to be coached and learn; strong team and interpersonal skills;
