Starting Pay Rate: $31.29/hr, depending on experience

General Description

As a Driver, you will be responsible for picking up and delivering tires and materials in a safe, efficient, and professional manner. You will operate tractor-trailer units for local shuttle movement of rubber, tires, raw materials, and equipment between the manufacturing facility and the adjacent warehouse. You will be assigned to a rotating 8-hour shift (days, nights, afternoons) to provide Monday to Friday driving, shipping, and receiving services to support Goodyear's manufacturing processes.


Responsibilities Will Include, But Not Be Limited To
  • All aspects of pick-up and delivery of tires, rubber, and other loads between Goodyear facilities and additional destinations as required.
  • Assist with loading and unloading commercial tires, casings, wheels, mounted wheel assemblies, and related products while following all safety rules and procedures. Proficiency with forklift/personal industrial vehicles is an asset.
  • Maintain customer relationships, including building and maintaining customer satisfaction.
  • Complete all documentation related to deliveries.
  • Keep all documents and maintenance records up to date on assigned equipment.
  • Perform any additional duties as assigned by management.
  • Perform manual tasks for extended periods, including light and moderate lifting, standing, bending, and squatting.
Basic Requirements
  • 6+ months' relevant driving experience
  • High school diploma
  • Valid Class 1 driver's license for the vehicle type required, with the ability to meet commercial driver qualification requirements. A clean driver’s abstract demonstrating a safe and compliant work history is required.
  • Must be at least 18 years old.
  • No relocation assistance is provided for this position.
  • Legally authorized to work in Canada without company sponsorship now or in the future.
