Job summary

Qualifications

• Posséder un permis de conduire de classe 1 ou A.

• Expérience en conduite de camions, de préférence dans un environnement de transport longue distance.

Responsibilities

• Conduire des camions pour transporter des marchandises.
• Inspecter à fond le véhicule avant, pendant et après le voyage.
• Enregistrer les informations de chargement et de consommation de carburant.

Responsibilities Tasks

• Drive as part of a two-person team or convoy
• Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials
• Oversee condition of vehicle and inspect tires, lights, brakes, cold storage and other equipment
• Perform brake adjustments
• Perform pre-trip, en route and post-trip inspection and oversee all aspects of vehicle
• Receive and relay information to central dispatch
• Record cargo information, hours of service, distance travelled and fuel consumption

• Air Brake (Z) Endorsement
