Qualifications

• Valid Class 5/G Driver's License is essential.
• More than 7 months of experience driving large vehicles required.

Responsibilities

• Drive and operate trucks while ensuring safe transport of goods.
• Perform pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections.
• Record and manage cargo information and fuel usage.

Job description

• Drive as part of a two-person team or convoy
• Load and unload goods
• Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials
• Perform pre-trip, en route and post-trip inspection and oversee all aspects of vehicle
• Record cargo information, hours of service, distance travelled and fuel consumption

Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses

• Class 5 / 5F / G Licence (cars, small trucks and other 2-axle vehicles)

Documentation knowledge
