Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Truck Driver located in Kamloops, BC. The Truck Driver will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently, adhering to DOT regulations, and ensuring timely deliveries. Daily tasks include loading and unloading equipment, conducting vehicle inspections, and maintaining accurate driving logs. The role requires a hands-on approach and a commitment to safety standards. This is an on call 24/7 position. After hours and weekend work will apply.

Qualifications

  • CDL Class A license and proficient Truck Driving skills
  • Experience with loading and unloading equipment
  • Knowledge of DOT Regulations and compliance requirements
  • Ability to operate various types of trucks and ensure maintenance
  • Strong attention to detail and safety protocols
  • Excellent problem-solving and time management skills
  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional certifications in transportation or logistics are a plus
  • 5 years minimum driving experince hauling heavy equipment
