Truck Driver

Location: 19 WINDERS TRAILS, Ingersoll, ON N5C 0A6

  • Salary: $34.50/hour, 40 hours per week
  • Terms: Permanent, Full-time
  • Schedule: Day, Evening, Night, Weekend, Early Morning, Morning
  • Benefits: Health care plan, Vision care benefits

Responsibilities
  • Plan or adjust routes based on changing conditions using GPS and other navigation devices to minimize fuel consumption and emissions
  • Provide professional customer service
  • Load and unload goods
  • Operate and drive trucks to transport goods and materials
  • Inspect vehicle condition, tires, lights, brakes, and equipment
  • Handle payments for goods
  • Perform emergency roadside repairs
  • Conduct pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections
  • Relay information to dispatch
  • Secure cargo and ensure safety
  • Transport and handle dangerous goods
Qualifications
  • Secondary school graduation or equivalent experience
