Job Title: DZ Delivery Driver – Kenworth (Manual Transmission)

Contract: 3-Month Assignment | May 20 – End of September

Pay: $23/hour | Hourly

Schedule: Monday to Friday, starting at 7:00 AM; finish time varies based on load (typically 10-hour days). Overtime may be required.

We are hiring an experienced, safety-focused DZ Delivery Driver for a 3-month assignment delivering tiles across Toronto and the GTA. The role involves operating a manual Kenworth truck equipped with a pump truck and tailgate, delivering fragile and heavy loads to residential and construction sites.

Job Duties:

1. Operate a company-provided Kenworth DZ truck (manual/standard transmission).
2. Complete 3–4 daily deliveries to homes or construction sites within the GTA.
3. Load and unload tile materials using a pump truck and tailgate.
4. Start each day at 7:00 AM; finish time depends on load and schedule.
5. No work on Jewish religious holidays (unpaid).

Safety & Load Expectations:

• Experience with load securement and shifting loads is required.
• Handle fragile tile products carefully to minimize breakage during transit.
• Properly strap, pad, and balance all loads.
• Responsible for pre- and post-trip inspections.
• Maintain a safety-first mindset — no shortcuts on securement or handling.
• Familiarity with weight distribution when using tailgates and pump trucks.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 2 years of commercial driving experience with DZ or AZ license.
• Proven ability to drive a manual/standard transmission.
• Good physical condition, as tile deliveries involve lifting.
• Comfortable navigating tight residential areas and construction zones.
• Must wear steel-toe boots.
• Ability to work overtime when needed.
• Vehicle and gas card provided.
