Right Service Right Choice is seeking a driver for on-site operations in Canada. The role involves two-person convoy driving, cargo handling, and ensuring safety and regulatory compliance during transport across local and regional routes.

The position requires a high school certificate; experience is an asset. You must operate trucks, perform pre-trip inspections, and coordinate with central dispatch to manage cargo details and fuel usage.

Formación

• Experience in transportation/travel is preferred.
• Ability to work at a fixed location and operate heavy trucks.
• Knowledge of safety inspections and cargo handling.

Responsabilidades

• Coach colleagues on new methods or work techniques.
• Drive as part of a two-person team or convoy.
• Load and unload goods.
• Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials.
• Oversee condition of vehicle and inspect tires, lights, brakes, cold storage and other equipment.
• Perform brake adjustments.
• Perform emergency roadside repairs.
• Perform pre-trip, en route and post-trip inspection and oversee all aspects of vehicle.
• Perform preventive maintenance.
• Receive and relay information to central dispatch.
• Record cargo information, hours of service, distance travelled and fuel consumption.
• Tarping and ensuring safety and security of cargo.
• Transport and handle dangerous goods.
