Job summary

Top Way Logistics Inc. in Calgary, AB is seeking a full-time on-site truck driver to join our fleet. You will operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods, load and unload, and maintain safety during trips.

The role requires 1 to less than 7 months of experience, a secondary school diploma, and flexibility to work various shifts including morning, evening, and night. Overtime may be required; starts as soon as possible.

Responsibilities

• Calculate the cost of truck repairs and new parts if needed.
• Plan or adjust routes based on changing conditions using GPS or other navigation devices to minimize fuel consumption.

• Load and unload goods.
• Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials.
• Oversee vehicle condition and inspect tires, lights, brakes, etc.
• Perform brake adjustments.
• Perform preventive maintenance.
• Receive and relay information to central dispatch.
• Record cargo information, hours of service, distance travelled and fuel consumption.
