Job summary

UniUni, a North American leader in last-mile logistics, is seeking a truck driver in Burnaby. You will load/unload trucks, perform daily logs, conduct vehicle inspections, secure cargo, and ensure compliance with company and government rules. Heavy lifting and weekend shifts are required.

The ideal candidate holds a BC Class 5 license, a clean driving record, and proven truck-driving experience. We offer competitive pay, benefits, paid time off, RRSP, and a management training program.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid BC Class 5 driver's license; no CDL required.
• An outstanding driving record without accidents or major traffic violations.
• Years of truck driving experience.
• Planning and organization.
• Ability to adapt to changing conditions, troubleshoot equipment, and find new routes when needed.

Responsibilities

• Flexible to work weekends and holidays
• Loading and unloading trucks, able to carry heavy items (50lbs)
• Completing a daily truck log and submitting mileage reports
• Conducting daily vehicle inspections and reporting any problems
• Complying with company and government regulations and rules
• Securing cargo
• Performing emergency repairs like patching tires when needed

The pay range for this role is:

41,600 - 41,600 CAD per year (YVR-Burnaby)
