Tasks

• Plan or adjust routes based on changing conditions using computer equipment, GPS, or other navigation devices to minimize fuel consumption and emissions.
• Provide professional customer service.
• Load and unload goods.
• Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials.
• Oversee vehicle condition and inspect tires, lights, brakes, cold storage, and other equipment.
• Perform brake adjustments and emergency roadside repairs.
• Conduct pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections, overseeing all vehicle aspects.
• Perform preventive maintenance.
• Receive and relay information to central dispatch.
• Record cargo details, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption.
• Ensure cargo safety and security, including tarping as necessary.

• AZ class license.
